Our Mission
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.
Our Vision
The Society aspires to be recognised as a caring Catholic charity offering “a hand up” to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope, and encouraging them to take control of their own destiny.

Join to the Moonee Ponds Conference
The St. Vincent de Paul Society Moonee Ponds Conference is continuing to respond to the challenges of the COVID-19 outbreak, assisting families and individuals through programs that support people experiencing hardship. We are actively recruiting for conference members and associate members and need people just like you to support the future rebuild in our communities through our Good Works. The work of our members can be easily summed up by the words of Christ in the Gospel of Matthew:
When I was hungry you fed me. When I was naked you clothed me. When I was lonely, sick or in prison you visited me. So if you feel that you can give a few hours to make a difference in people’s lives, please get in touch to hear more by contacting David McLean, President of the Moonee Ponds Conference on 0408 338 250. |
