ONLINE MASS
How can I participate in online Mass?
Despite our current limitations, we can still participate in the celebration of Mass online thanks to modern technology. Many dioceses around the world provide online streaming of Masses, including our own Archdiocese of Melbourne. Below are some links to online Masses. 1. St Patrick’s Cathedral, Melbourne
Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral, Melbourne is available daily. Weekdays Mass are available at 1pm and is then available as a recording on-demand until one hour prior to the next Mass. Sunday Mass is available at 11am live streamed and it is also available as a recording on-demand. Liturgies at St Patrick's Cathedral will now be televised live on Channel 31 (as well as live streamed on the Melbourne Catholic website and YouTube Channel). While it will be difficult to not be physically present during these liturgies we hope that by televising the liturgies, more Melburnians will now have access – particularly those who might be limited to television viewing only. We invite you to come together in your households and families, uniting with the Church in Melbourne and the whole world to celebrate liturgies in your homes. Other ideas and suggestions for how you can celebrate at home can be found here. Weekly liturgies will be available for viewing on:
